This years rating is so far the highest recorded institutional passing percentage in ten years.
Of the 132 elementary education graduates who took the test, 114 passed giving the program 86.36 passing record. On the other hand, of the 112 secondary education graduates who, likewise, took the examination, 89 made it registering 79.46 percent passing rating.
The LET covered two tests for elementary education graduates: general education, 40 percent; and professional education, 60 percent. The tests for secondary education graduates included: general education, 20 percent; professional education, 40 percent; and field of specialization, 40 percent.
The College of Teacher Education has been a consistent outstanding performer in the LET based on national passing rates. The consistent outstanding performance of its graduates in the said examination has been one of the major points for its selection as one of top institutions for teacher education in the country.
