"Honesty is the best policy," this was probably the thoughts that came to the mind of Leonel Bulosan, a BSEd I-A major in Filipino of the MMSU-College of Teacher Education as he and his friend returned a wallet with Php 6,500.
He and his friend was featured recently at TV PAtrol Laoag because of their honesty.
According to the two, they saw the wallet while they was walking so they pick it. At first they did not know what to do because the wallet has no identification. So they decided to submit it to ABS-CBN Laoag in the hope that the wallet will be safe.
The wallet was claimed by a lady pork vendor. And because of her appreciation of what the two did, she gave them a small amount as a reward.
The news was already received by the Dean and according to some reliable resources the Dean will make a way to recognize his remarkable work because of what he did he also uplifted the name of the College.
It is no wonder that the two have returned the wallet because the two were God-fearing. They were very honest to their self because they were not temted by the big amount. Although in reality, money is important for them it is more important to here God's voice.
May the two be an inspiration to all of us because today we need present persons who are honest and kind.
